REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

Last updated: April 26, 2026

Effective date: April 26, 2026

Version: 2.0

This Refunds & Returns Policy (the "Policy") applies to purchases made through Rendah Mag ("we", "us", "our") via https://www.rendahmag.com/. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read with our Shipping Policy.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory rights for faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered goods, services, or digital content.

1. Summary

  • Contact us before returning anything. Unauthorised returns may be refused, delayed, or returned to sender where permitted by law.
  • Single-issue newspapers, periodicals, and magazines may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights.
  • Digital content and membership access may become non-refundable once supply begins with your consent or acknowledgement, to the extent permitted by law.
  • Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or missing items are handled under your statutory rights and this Policy.
  • Refunds are normally made to the original payment method unless law or operational requirements allow another method.

2. How to Request Help

Submit refund, return, cancellation, missing-item, or damage requests through our contact form. Include your order number, email address used at checkout, delivery address, photos where relevant, packaging photos, tracking details, and a clear description of the issue.

3. Inspection and Reporting Windows

You should inspect goods promptly on delivery. If an item is damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or missing, notify us as soon as possible and preferably within 7 days of delivery or the latest estimated delivery date. Prompt notice helps us investigate, preserve evidence, and make carrier or supplier claims.

Late reports may be declined to the extent permitted by law where delay prevents verification, carrier recovery, or fair assessment of the issue.

4. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If a physical item is faulty, damaged in transit, materially misdescribed, incorrect, or missing, we may require evidence and may ask you to retain or return the item and packaging. Subject to your statutory rights, we may offer repair, replacement, partial refund, full refund, store credit, or another remedy appropriate to the circumstances.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper care, unauthorised alteration, normal wear, handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item, or events after successful delivery to the address or person you nominated.

5. Change-of-Mind Cancellations

If you are a UK or EU consumer buying online, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain distance contracts within 14 days. The cancellation period and available remedies depend on what you bought, when delivery or supply began, and whether an exception applies.

  • For most cancellable goods, the 14-day period runs from the day after you receive the goods.
  • For service contracts, the 14-day period usually runs from the day after the contract is made.
  • For subscription contracts involving magazines or other periodic goods, cancellation rights may differ from single-issue purchases.

To cancel where a statutory cancellation right applies, contact us before the deadline. We may ask you to return goods in accordance with Section 8.

6. Items That May Be Non-Refundable or Excluded

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or refunds for:

  • Single-issue newspapers, periodicals, magazines, or similar publications.
  • Digital content after supply has begun with your consent or acknowledgement that cancellation rights may be lost.
  • Membership access, archive access, downloads, or digital services already supplied, except where required by law.
  • Sealed audio, video, software, or similar goods once unsealed, where the law allows exclusion.
  • Personalised, custom-made, limited-run, made-to-order, or commissioned products.
  • Items damaged, used, altered, or handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
  • Gift cards, discount codes, promotional credits, and free items except where law requires otherwise.

7. Digital Content and Membership Access

By requesting or accepting immediate access to digital content, downloads, archives, or membership services, you may lose statutory cancellation rights or be required to pay for the portion supplied, to the extent permitted by law. We may suspend access after refund, chargeback, cancellation, non-payment, or account termination.

8. Return Conditions

  • Returns must be authorised by us in writing before shipping.
  • Returned items must include all parts, packaging, inserts, and proof of purchase where reasonably required.
  • You must package returns securely and use any return method we reasonably specify.
  • You are responsible for loss or damage in return transit where permitted by law.
  • We may refuse, reduce, or delay refunds for unauthorised, late, incomplete, damaged, used, or unverifiable returns where permitted by law.

9. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error, verified defect, verified transit damage, or another reason for which the law makes us responsible, we will handle return costs as required by law.
  • For change-of-mind or other authorised returns not caused by our error, you are responsible for return shipping costs where we have informed you of that responsibility and the law permits it.
  • Original delivery costs may be refunded only where required by law. Where required, this is normally limited to the least expensive standard delivery option we offered.
  • Customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and failed delivery costs may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

10. Refund Timing and Method

Approved refunds will usually be made to the original payment method. Payment providers, banks, and card issuers may take additional time to process funds after we issue a refund.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply, we will process refunds within the timeframe required by law. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, where the law allows.

We may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect goods, and may set off amounts owed to us where permitted by law.

11. Pre-Orders, Backorders, and Limited Releases

Pre-order and backorder dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. If a release is cancelled, unavailable, materially delayed, or cannot be fulfilled, we may offer a refund, replacement, store credit, or revised delivery date in accordance with applicable law.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue. If you initiate a dispute, we may suspend access, pause fulfilment, preserve evidence, respond to the payment provider, and recover reasonable costs or losses where permitted by law. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to refusal of future orders or account termination.

13. Contact

All requests under this Policy should be submitted via our contact form.
