Premiere: Shuffling away with Spinline's 'Tzar'

Hungarian Drum & Bass outfit Spinline is releasing their debut LP 'Reaching the Oasis' on DLR's Sofa Sound Bristol. Spanning a total of 17 excellent, well-crafted tracks, the full album is out now on Bandcamp, Spotify and Beatport. Everywhere else on December 28th.

Being around since the early 2010s, Spinline always kept it fresh and unique. Back then they graced labels such as RAM, Dispatch and Shogun with their music. It should take a decade for them to return, but not empty-handed. First appearing on 'Sofa King Sick 2', they kicked off Sofa Sound's 2022 with 'We Love Acid. With influences from Acid House, Techno and Drum & Bass, Spinline are bringing their unmistakable Eastern European / Baltic flavour.

Winning Best Newcomer Label at 2020's D&B Arena Awards DLR's Sofa Sound has grown into one of the most popular Drum & Bass labels. With a strong focus on representing the talent closest to DLR's heart, the imprint aims to give 'space to new talent as well as certified legends'. As Sofa Sound rounded its fifth year of existence, we reported about them earlier in the year. Additionally, the visual direction is realized by the brilliant Adam Menzies.

'Tzar' stands as a testament to true Techstep sound with a modern twist. Shuffling seamlessly steady on, light atmospherics and occasional bleeps and bloops seep through the darkness.
