Version: 2.0

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") applies to your access to and use of Rendah Mag's website, accounts, memberships, checkout, digital content, community features, submissions, and related services (the "Services"). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

You are responsible for your own conduct and for all activity under your account. If there is any conflict between this AUP and a stricter rule elsewhere in our Terms, the stricter rule applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1. Account and Access Rules

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must keep login credentials confidential and must not share, sell, lease, transfer, or sublicense account or membership access.
  • You must not create accounts to evade bans, payment restrictions, rate limits, fraud checks, or enforcement action.
  • You must promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised account access or misuse.
  • We may verify identity, eligibility, account activity, and payment details where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or risk management.

2. Illegal and Harmful Conduct

You must not use the Services to create, upload, share, promote, or facilitate:

  • Illegal activity, illegal goods or services, or instructions to commit crime.
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, credible threats, incitement to violence, or praise/support for terrorist acts.
  • Child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation of minors, or sexualised content involving minors.
  • Human trafficking, exploitation, modern slavery, or non-consensual sexual content.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, intimidation, doxxing, blackmail, or targeted abuse.
  • Hate, discrimination, or dehumanising content targeting protected characteristics.
  • Self-harm, suicide, eating disorder, or dangerous activity content where it encourages or instructs harm.
  • Fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, misleading claims, forged documents, or deceptive communications.
  • Defamatory, invasive, privacy-violating, or unlawful surveillance content.

3. Intellectual Property and Content Misuse

  • You must not infringe copyright, trade marks, moral rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, database rights, or other proprietary rights.
  • You must not copy, scrape, bulk download, archive, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit our content.
  • You must not use our content, data, metadata, or services for AI training, machine learning, text/data mining, embeddings, datasets, or automated extraction without our prior written permission except where law gives you a non-excludable right.
  • You must not remove attribution, watermarks, credits, rights notices, access controls, or metadata.

4. Technical Abuse

You must not:

  • Access or attempt to access accounts, systems, data, APIs, source code, admin areas, or infrastructure without authorisation.
  • Probe, scan, exploit, or test vulnerabilities except through responsible disclosure and with no harmful impact.
  • Introduce malware, spyware, ransomware, worms, malicious scripts, or harmful code.
  • Interfere with availability, integrity, performance, rate limits, security, logging, or monitoring.
  • Use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated tools, credential stuffing, fake accounts, or bulk requests without our permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where the law prevents us from restricting this.
  • Bypass paywalls, DRM, watermarking, authentication, geographic restrictions, download controls, or other protection measures.

5. Commercial and Payment Abuse

  • You must not resell, broker, share, or commercially exploit memberships, benefits, discounts, checkout links, downloads, or paid content.
  • You must not use stolen, unauthorised, false, or invalid payment details.
  • You must not engage in refund abuse, chargeback abuse, false non-delivery claims, collusion, coupon abuse, or repeated bad-faith disputes.
  • You must not use the Services for unsolicited marketing, affiliate spam, multi-level marketing, lead scraping, or unauthorised advertising.
  • You must comply with applicable sanctions, export controls, anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, consumer protection, and tax laws.

6. Submissions and Community Features

If we enable comments, profiles, submissions, messages, contributor features, competitions, or other interactive tools, you must ensure your content is lawful, accurate where factual, non-infringing, and compliant with this AUP. We are not required to host, publish, maintain, or promote any user content.

We may remove, edit, restrict, demonetise, disable, report, or refuse content at any time where we consider it unlawful, harmful, infringing, misleading, abusive, low quality, off-topic, risky, or inconsistent with our policies, editorial standards, or business interests.

7. Responsible Security Disclosure

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it promptly via our contact form. You must not access, copy, alter, delete, exfiltrate, or disclose data; disrupt services; escalate privileges; persist access; or publicly disclose the issue before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate.

8. Reporting Violations

To report a suspected violation, submit details via our contact form. Include the relevant URL, account, order number, screenshots if appropriate, and a clear explanation. Knowingly false, abusive, or bad-faith reports may themselves breach this AUP.

9. Enforcement

We may take any action we reasonably consider appropriate to protect the Services, users, rights holders, payment systems, partners, and our business, including:

  • Warnings, feature limits, account verification, or corrective action requests.
  • Removal, restriction, demonetisation, or refusal of content.
  • Temporary or permanent suspension, termination, blocking, rate limiting, or device/IP restrictions.
  • Cancellation or refusal of orders, memberships, submissions, or benefits.
  • Preservation and disclosure of evidence where permitted or required by law.
  • Reports to law enforcement, regulators, rights holders, payment processors, shipping providers, or affected parties.
  • Legal action, including injunctive relief, damages, costs, and recovery of losses.

Serious violations may lead to immediate action without prior notice where permitted by law. We are not liable for enforcement decisions made in good faith to protect the Services or comply with law.

10. Updates

We may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated AUP to the fullest extent permitted by law.
