Both Hypho and Abstrakt Sonance are legends in their own right. Whilst Hypho runs Manuka, Abstrakt Sonance founded Medicine. Both play the US regularly and are neck-deep into the 140 realm. The 'Megumi Hope EP' sees them venturing into even lusher, slower sounds featuring talented singer Megumi Hope aka Dub Princess.

Deep, Dark & Dangerous is one of THE Dubstep labels to emerge in the past decade. Run by the impeccable duo TRUTH, they've left a mark on the global scene. Being home to a myriad of artists, Deep, Dark & Dangerous has released numerous heaters by seasoned producers like Taiko, Khiva, DMVU or Leon Switch. Additionally, they've given a platform to fresh names like MYTHM, Ternion Sound, ENiGMA Dubz or Roklem & Sebalo.

'What Is Freedom' featuring Megumi Hope doesn't adhere to the deep, dark and dangerous vibe the label is usually known for. As described on Bandcamp, the EP is the label's 'inaugural venture into the realms of downtempo rhythms'.
