Premiere: Vorso's "Holonomy Album" on Inspected

PremieresWritten by Daniel Aagentah on

Vorso is Tom Slattery, is a South-UK-based artist who has been prominently delving into the depths of electronic music in an exceptionally creative way for several years. A closer look at the artist's trajectory reveals some remarkable insights into what's achievable for a grassroots artist in today's musical landscape.

Vorso has been consistently advancing his craft, partnering with Inspected as one of the great label to champion his unique sound. It seemed inevitable that we would eventually be treated to a full-length album from the heavyweight producer.

Set to release this week is Vorso's magnum opus, the "Holonomy Album," under the Inspected imprint—a compelling 20-track journey showcasing the best of Vorso's artistic range.

Today, we proudly premiere a personal favourite from the forthcoming release. The track titled "Searcher" emerges as one of the more abstract and experimental compositions on the album, sculpting a sonic landscape filled with gritty textures, intermittent breaks, and nostalgic chord stabs; a true "nu-era" adaptability.

We are happy to witness Tom delivering such an incredible volume of music, and we invite you to explore his latest offerings. The Album will be available here to buy.

Mission Statement

This project is crafted to be open and collaborative. Through this, we seek to explore core themes within a structured framework:

  • Symbiosis: Can artists and communities have better relations?
  • Meaning: What matters in pursuing and preserving artistic influences?
  • Intersectivity: Are there chartable commonalities within art and technology?

By asking questions, we hope to observe something new; and with that, offer our own perspective.
