PremieresWritten by Umut Avialan on

TRAKA continue their trek through the bass music scene with an all-new EP coming on Satellite Era. Dropping on November 17th, the 'DMSAT EP' is a crazy collection of high-octane heaters destined to swarm the dance floors worldwide.

TRAKA is a fresh production and graffiti collective from Serbia, Montenegro and the US. So far, the highly productive collective has released its heavily distorted creations on Black Teeth Records, SUDO Sound and YUKU. Additionally, they've collaborated with Killa P, Riko Dan, Subp Yao, Warrior Queen and many more. Brace yourselves for a late 2023 and early 2024 filled with TRAKA heat!

Satellite Era is a US label known for intertwining progressive audio creations with stunning visual design. Since its inception in 2020, the label has brought excellent tracks to listeners worldwide. Throughout its relatively short lifespan, Satellite Era has been home to music by a myriad of extremely talented individuals. Honourable mentions include Lazarus Moment, Agent O, Test Bench or more recently Futurist. The latest release by TRAKA will be assorted into the Satellite Trax series which focuses on dance-centric music.

'Jungle Machete Fever' makes clear why. Utterly broken beats crunched through a distortion (meat) grinder make for an exquisite breakfast!

Mission Statement

This project is crafted to be open and collaborative. Through this, we seek to explore core themes within a structured framework:

  • Symbiosis: Can artists and communities have better relations?
  • Meaning: What matters in pursuing and preserving artistic influences?
  • Intersectivity: Are there chartable commonalities within art and technology?

By asking questions, we hope to observe something new; and with that, offer our own perspective.
