Premiere: System.Au's latest single "Lysergic"

PremieresWritten by Daniel Aagentah on

Now and then, a track emerges that transcends categorization. I believe System.Au's forthcoming track "Lysergic" is one such example. As a certified offering to the masses, this track stands as a testament to crafting high-energy yet minimal Drum & Bass, integrating a range of TB-303-style acid synths into the mix.

Coming out of Seattle—the upcoming duo has brought their listeners a blend of styles that represent a new direction in the underground scene. System.Au have combined the old and the new, in a nostalgic and forward-thinking manner. Today, we proudly premiere the track on Rendah Mag.

Personally, I am a huge fan of this sound at the moment, and they've done a terrific job. With 2024 on the approach, I'll look forward to hearing more styles like this from them.

The track is set to drop on Monday on their Bandcamp—this is not one to miss.

Mission Statement

This project is crafted to be open and collaborative. Through this, we seek to explore core themes within a structured framework:

  • Symbiosis: Can artists and communities have better relations?
  • Meaning: What matters in pursuing and preserving artistic influences?
  • Intersectivity: Are there chartable commonalities within art and technology?

By asking questions, we hope to observe something new; and with that, offer our own perspective.
