Premiere: Serpnt prepares us for the 'Rave'
Serpnt shows out with a nice bundle of tunes with his 'Something For The Weekend EP'. Out today on CIA Records, the EP features a collab with UK newcomer Infrah which we premiere today.
Vienna-based Serpnt is one half of Drum & Bass duo ZeroZero, and has been released on other labels such as Sofa Sound Bristol, or Dispatch Recordings. It's great to see him go all out here, presenting four tracks of high-energy dancefloor filth. Founded by Total Science, Bristol-based CIA Records has been putting out impactful sonics for nearly 30 years. 'Something For The Weekend' is an incredible addendum to the label's monumental catalogue - delivering exactly what its title promises.
Today we premiere a cheeky collaboration with Infrah. ‘Rave’ is a dark extension of aggressive elements. A stripped-down screamer that casually rips up the club and leaves one hungry for more. Serpnt and Infrah kind of get down to business on this tune without mussing about and the result is a raucously good time. Truly a fantastic moment of letting loose on this already dangerous EP.
Out on all platforms on February 23rd, Serpnt’s 'Something For The Weekend EP' depicts an advanced dancefloor sound and feels right at home on CIA.
