Coming with eight tracks across two discs, '10/10' shows where Sector 7 is coming from, where it is at and is heading. Stacked with music by close peers and newcomers, Boofy once again shows distinctive curation quality stemming from a relentless drive to present cutting-edge sonics.

Sector 7 Sounds was never intended to be a vehicle for Boofy's own sound. Starting out in 2013 with early beats by long-time collaborator Lemzly Dale, he set up the label to push fresh and exciting bits around 140 and Dubstep influences. Rather forward-thinking than retreading to old grounds. 10 years later, the label can look back at an impressive back catalogue featuring the likes of Jook, Hi5 Ghost, Kahn & Neek and Commodo.

On disc one, we have a slew of fresh and exciting tunes by Invader Spade, Jook & Lemzly Dale, Leon P and the label head himself. Disc two on the other hand is packed with insane reworks! Commodo’s ‘Guah’ gets the remix treatment by UK bass queen Ikonika and Giant Swan transform Drone’s ‘No Future’ into a warbling Techno mutation. Josi Devil flips Kahn & Neek’s ‘Random Lab’ and EVA808 extracts grimy madness from Jook’s ‘Gold Rush’.

This LP, but especially the remix disc snapshots Boofy's open-minded scope and ensures a healthy future for the label. Additionally, Sector 7 Sounds invites everyone to celebrate at their release party at Bristol's Thekla venue on September 15th. Giant Swan, EVA808, Josi Devil, Leon P B2B Ago and Boofy will be spinning tunes.
