Premiere: River’s latest EP on Deep Within Recordings

PremieresWritten by Colin Benson on

River comes through with his latest EP ‘Eclipse’ on Deep Within Recordings, showcasing a diverse range of deep multigenre tracks from Drum and Bass to Dubstep.

The Guildford, UK-based producer recently released a grand EP on Incurzion Audio just a few weeks ago and is back again. Apart from these labels, he has previously released with Forbidden Frequencies and Goat Shed, which has cemented him as an artist to watch out for in the minimal spectrum.

Deep Within Recordings, a record label based in Austria, is widely recognized for nurturing an array of talented Drum and Bass and Dubstep producers who offer exciting and innovative sounds. Led by the multi-talented artist Division, who has a superb instinct for high-quality, from the maliciously killer artwork to every single release submerging with the utmost proper musical and technical music. The label takes pride in promoting the deeper and more nuanced aspects of Drum and Bass and Dubstep. Excellence all around, establishing a reputation for releasing deep-captivating music by many outstanding up-and-coming artists.

The EP dives through intense sub-driven minimal Drum and Bass to a dark 140 wobbler to a toasty melodic hybrid of liquid and minimal, ending on a lighter note with a soulful liquid track. An excellent taste of River’s technical prowess over several musical styles.

Today we premiere the closing track of the EP ‘Time’, a refreshing-heartfelt liquid track with crisp-elegant drums, arousing-soulful vocals, numbing chords and of course an oozing bassline. A perfect ending note to the EP, raising the spirits and surely liven up any dancefloor.

Mission Statement

This project is crafted to be open and collaborative. Through this, we seek to explore core themes within a structured framework:

  • Symbiosis: Can artists and communities have better relations?
  • Meaning: What matters in pursuing and preserving artistic influences?
  • Intersectivity: Are there chartable commonalities within art and technology?

By asking questions, we hope to observe something new; and with that, offer our own perspective.
