As the launchpad is set, systems are engaged, pilots are strapped in, personnel are clear we slowly and eagerly await the launch stage. Korsakov Music welcome back the Manchester duo PRFCT MANDEM to their ranks and catalogue of forward-thinking, heavy-hitting weapons suitable for intergalactic battle.

Hyperdrive

The title track “Hyperdrive” takes you onto a full-throttle battle with your own thoughts, pondering and wondering where you will end up, with a deep rising drop enticing you into a battlefield where the outcome is unknown but you sure as hell don’t want to miss out on it.

Stay Quiet

The techno-influenced “Stay Quiet” brings a whole new dimension to the EP which going at hyperdrive speed you will be bound to reach in no time at all. Pummelling kicks relentlessly causing damage to the atmosphere as you break the speed of light.

Contact/Conflict

“Contact” and “Conflict” both show a different side to PRFCT Mandem’s productions blending a mix of dancefloor and neuro to create two stunning pieces of music truly showcasing the versatility of the duo.

Rounding off the EP is a fairly simple but effective take on deep drum & bass entitled Innosense. The 5th and final track is layered with gritty neuro sounds, vocals and long drawn out baselines. Look out for this EP as it will be a solid listening experience and weapons to include in any DJ set. The Manchester-based duo proving once again that you do not need E’s to make your life perfect.
