Icicle & Skittles tease their new track 'Everybody Riot'
So everyone knows the iconic track 'Problem' by Icicle and Skittles from way back, so when this popped up in my feed earlier i was very excited, and they’ve definitely delivered with this track. Rapid fire switches, catchy bars, jungle breaks and naughty leads, this tune's got it all.
The track builds with huge atmospherics and Skittles’ infectious northern patter, my favourite line is“ don’ t only vocal a beat me I fucking wine it & dine it” The tune then flip’ s up into that catchy lead, a simple riff playing between an A / B section of different pitch giving it a push and pull feeling, then Icicle throws in the jungle breaks to get the beat properly popping and energetic.
I expect this one to become a staple in DJ’s sets and can’t wait to hear it shaking a sound system. Congratulations to Outlook for launching their label, if this release is anything to go by. The label is set to really make some waves.
