Premiere: Hexalyne on SATELLITE ERA's latest VA

PremieresWritten by Daniel Aagentah on

Carving their way through an impressive catalogue, SATELLITE ERA has firmly established itself as one of our favourite labels in the underground beat-space. Their meticulous curation showcases a unique vision of left-field presence. Further asserting their presence in this realm, they introduce 'Distant Arrays Volume 07'. This 4-track instalment in the series explores sounds from artists such as Ton Mise, Hexalyne, Naudible, and AZ-Rotator.

We are excited to premiere Hexalyne's contribution to the release today. The track, titled 'Invicate', is an amalgamation of textural elements, combining glitch-cut percussives with squelchy zip-basses. Initially, the track's flow might seem challenging to grasp, but as it unfolds, its structure is gradually woven into the listener's auditory experience, creating a uniquely engaging and enjoyable track.

It's great to see SATELLITE ERA feature 'Invicate' in their catalogue, perfectly aligning with their distinct style. We anticipate following all the artists involved as they continue to make waves throughout the year.

The whole release will be available here.
