Premiere: Into the ether with lush UKG by Esym on T3K
Your favourite Aussie producer Eysm returns to T3K Recordings with a lush UKG banger called 'Ether'.
Esym aka Matthew Cheeseman has been around the Drum & Bass circuit for quite some time now. Drawing from cinematic and technological inspirations, Cheeseman flows between deep, relaxed and heavy bass explorations. Throughout recent years, his music has been released on Bad Taste, Locked Concept, Good Karma and many more. Additionally, he co-founded ProtoCode Music.
Founded by Kaiza, T3K Recordings is a Drum & Bass label that emerged from the depths of Mannheim’s rave-soaked underground. Mainly dabbling in the darker realms, the imprint is not shy from going all experimental. Throughout their years, they have released music by the likes of Dunk, Evolved and OaT to name a few.
After years of carving out stepstones for later great producers, T3K Recordings now aims to support wildlife around the globe. With its PROT3KT series, the label shines a light on grievances regarding wildlife around the world.
This marks a change in their past release policy and the introduction of a new chapter. Instead of just putting out music into the vast ether of Drum & Bass releases, they give buying music a new purpose. All proceeds will be donated to the Nature And Diversity Conservation Union (NABU) or World Wildlife Fund (WWF) with more organizations to be added. Furthermore, T3K Recordings also shows that being open-minded in terms of genres is a healthy step nowadays as multi-genre sets are the new normal.
A little bit unexpected, Esym's 'Ether' isn't Drum & Bass. It's an ambient, lush UK Garage tune, best enjoyed on these sunny Spring days!
