Manchester producer Jim Ehlinger, known as Earl Grey, has been crafting music under this moniker since 2009. His releases on labels like Western Lore, Inperspective Records, and Subtle Audio showcase his journey through Drum & Bass and Jungle. Originally exploring Breakcore, Braindance, and IDM, Earl Grey now draws from a diverse range of influences, including Jazz, Progressive Rock, Soul, Funk, House, and Hip Hop. His music blends uptempo breakbeat styles, offering an eclectic mix suited for both home listening and the dancefloor.

Operated by Rob Rua and Welfare, Rua Sound is a label known for its high-velocity electronic music, crafted specifically for the dancefloor. Its roster includes acclaimed artists such as Sully, Sam Binga, TMSV, Lewis James, A.Fruit, Comma, Itoa and Tim Reaper. Additionally, Rua Sound hosts the Foxy Jangle sub-label, dedicated to delivering the freshest cuts from modern Jungle's finest talents.

'Death Rattle' by Earl Grey offers a sinister, tribal atmosphere colouring pictures of a hectic hunt through foggy woods. Truly a perfect soundtrack for gloomy February days.
