Premiere: DROMEK's "TOP TIER SLUDGE EP"
Bristol-based imprint Intrinzic consistently sets the bar high with their quality output of music. The label epitomizes quality over quantity in their mission to bring left-field sonics to the forefront. Having worked with the label head, Isaac, on many projects, I can confidently state that Intrinzic is poised for the long-haul. Famous for airing their label mixes, sometimes years in advance of music's release, the series has become somewhat iconic in charting the label's behind-the-scenes progress.
As we approach the end of the year, Intrinzic delivers swiftly with their latest offering: DROMEK's "TOP TIER SLUDGE EP", a four-track amalgamation of dance floor steppers and jungle-inspired left-field madness.
DROMEK ingeniously takes the foundational elements of prevalent 160BPM club tracks, cranks up the tempo, and infuses them with a nice mix of genres. Here, we witness a chaotic convergence. It's precisely what we have come to expect from the artist.
Today, we premiere a personal favourite from the release. The track, titled "Three Word Slogan," maintains this energy from start to finish, encompassing a range of elastic jungle-driven breaks, rigid basses, and glitched-out vocals.
