Criso makes his mark as an undeniable force on Locus Sound’s last release of 2023 with their LP series ‘Compilation Vol. 5’ featuring 10 tracks from rising talents and in-house members of the label. A formal greeting of what to expect from them next year. LOCUSLP005 surfaces on December 15th.
Previously known as TYLR, Criso has been turning heads in the underground Dubstep spectrum for a few years. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, he’s gained remarkable traction with a variety of deep-wonky cuts as well as touching on other sonics like Drum and Bass and Garage. Landing on labels like Deep Dark & Dangerous, spicy bois, Street Ritual, Wavecraft Collective, and Wraz Records. Not to mention his serious catalogue of self-releases on his Bandcamp which also offers a subscription for special exclusive numbers. It's worth scoping out! Hitting all the right notes in the uprising styles in the US and beyond with such a precise grasp on several genres he’s sure to continue blowing up.
Locus Sound established in 2017 has become a significant staple for modern Dubstep and emerging talents. Consistently representing their heavyweight sound with a diverse catalogue of bass-driven styles while introducing a space for the unknown. They've featured heavy hitters such as Hamdi, Yoofee and more. Class soundsystem flavours always!
Reflecting the essence of the label, Criso sweeps the board with a rude boy stepper ‘Marked’, setting off with polished bass pads, deep-fried snares and a cold atmosphere. Enjoy the premiere!
