Connect with Forin

Well damn, promising LA-based bass music producer Forin barges in with a striking experimental halftime 2 track debut EP released on Sound Museum. Though it may be his debut EP, Forin is well acquainted with the bass music scene. A connoisseur of all things bass-related, Forin has been making distinct waves in the Los Angeles electronic music community with proper releases with notable platforms in the area such as Bass Waffles and Wormhole Records, even a major artist like Tipper has played out his tracks. Most recently his track 'Composure' is out on Fuzzy Puddles.

Furthermore, he has assisted in the growth of the LA underground music community with his music as well as being a curator and resident of Jetlag LA - a monthly event series dedicated to global bass and UK sounds. In spite of having roots and family in New York, Forin spent his early years growing up in London; before moving to Southern California to attend university and thereafter fully pursued a career dedicated to mastering the art of bass music.

His 'Circe / Envy EP' is a 2 track excursion that may seem short but it definitely packs a punch. This EP’s composed rumbling basslines will pulsate through your mind, body, and soul with raw dynamic precision. Whilst sexy tech head-nod grooves compel any halftime lover. As expressed by Sound Museum: 'His nuanced, sophisticated approach to experimental halftime is informed by this internationally exposed upbringing as well as his many years of adventuring through the underground realm no matter what the genre - for example, the DnB respect for structure and disciplined sound design is reflected in Forin’s productions, as well as the themes of restraint commonly found in Techno and the confidence engendered by Hip-Hop and Trap music.'

With his sound finally on full display, Forin is not one to be slept on within the underground bass music community. Conformed to the nodes of Drum & Bass and UK-style productions there is no doubt we’ll be hearing more from him. In the meantime, go support and listen to his stunning debut!
