Premiere: An-ten-nae tells us to 'Hang On' for a second

PremieresWritten by Umut Avialan on

West Coast bass veteran and Medicine label co-founder An-ten-nae is back with 'Hang On'. To be released tomorrow February 16th, his latest creation is an ethereal journey through Dubstep and UKG.

Hailing from Oakland, US, An-Ten-Nae is renowned for his roles at San Francisco's 1015 Folsom and Portland's The North Warehouse. He further has been instrumental in shaping modern US bass music. His influential 'Acid Crunk' Compilations, featuring artists like Griz and The Glitch Mob, have been pivotal in establishing the West Coast bass scene. He spans decades with over 100 releases on labels such as Muti Music, Wakaan, Gravitas and more.

Founded by An-ten-nae and Dov1, Medicine 'is a humble gathering place for the sounds' they love. Be it deep bass sonics, Deep Bass, House, or melodic vibrations, both happily give it a home. For them, music isn't just about sounds, but the feelings it triggers and its therapeutic effects. So far, the label has released music by the label owners themselves, Nalith, Abstrakt Sonance and more.

'Hang On' is an excellent fusion of Dubstep and UKG elements. Immediately transports me to dusty festival grounds! Check the premiere yourself below.
